What makes HomeKit a make or break feature?

2. Compatibility
3. Ecosystem Agnostic
4. Core iOS integration

I really wish MR would start tagging these IoT devices with “HomeKit” or “Non-HomeKit” when referring to hardware by name. Having an iOS app is no longer sufficient for Apple relevance.
No HomeKit no sale.
