Ironically I set up HomeBridge over the winter break to solve this problem and they’ve been working great. I have the shades automated to open close with sunrise/sunset, works with Siri and even shows the battery level.
Apparently ikeas HomeKit implementation does not show you the battery level. So maybe keep your homebridge setup
Great….but, those blinds come in set sizes, if your windows size differs you are out of luck.
They should have the possibility to order in the exact size you want.
And there’s another problem, light bleed, if you like to sleep in the dark then these won’t work, you need guide rails.
