Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones in the Mi 11 series were launched by Xiaomi in China on Monday, March 29, along with the Mi Smart Band 6. The three new phones in the Mi 11 series add to the Mi 11 that debuted in China in December last year and was launched globally last month. Xiaomi is yet to introduce the Mi 11 series in India, but has said that the flagship series will be “coming soon” to the country.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Lite 5G: Price, availability

The Mi 11 Ultra from Xiaomi is priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 66,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 72,000) for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant, and CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 77,500) for the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The phone comes in Black and White colour options, along with a White Ceramic Special Edition with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage also priced at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 77,500).

The Mi 11 Pro has been launched at a starting price of CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 55,400) for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It costs CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 58,700) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs. 63,100) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The phone comes in Black, Green, and White colour options.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G has a starting price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 25,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 28,800) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The phone comes in Citrus Yellow, Mint Green, and Truffle Black colour options.

Pre-sales of Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro were opened at 10pm CST on Monday, March 29 (7.30pm IST). The two phones will become available for purchase starting April 2 in China. The Mi 11 Lite 5G will go on sale later this month.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications

The dual-SIM 5G Mi 11 Ultra runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. It features a quad-curved 6.81-inch 2K WQHD+ (3,200× 1,440 pixels) E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a 551ppi pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and has an A+ rating from DisplayMate. DisplayMate tests and evaluates all types of displays to analyse different aspects of what makes a display good or bad.

The phone also has a 1.1-inch (126×294 pixels) AMOLED secondary touch display on the back. It supports always-on mode and has a peak brightness of 450 nits.

The Mi 11 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Mi 11 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired as well as wireless fast charging support, along with 10W reverse wireless charging. The top-of-the-line phone in the Mi 11 series comes with an IP68 dust- and water-resistant build.

The Mi 11 Ultra has a triple rear camera setup housed in a rectangular module that also includes a small, multi-functional secondary display. The secondary display is mainly included to encourage users to take selfies with the phone’s rear camera. But the display that can relay notifications, battery level, and weather alerts among other things can also be utilised as the only display in Ultra-Low Power mode, which can give the phone up to 55 hours of additional standby time.

The rear camera setup of the Mi 11 Ultra includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 primary wide-angle sensor with an f/1.95 lens and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It is accompanied by two 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle and tele-macro camera sensors. The ultra-wide-angle camera comes with an f/2.2 lens and a 128-degree Field of View (FoV). And the tele-macro lens supports 5x optical and 120x digital zoom. The Mi 11 Ultra supports 8K video recording at 24fps with all three sensors.

The phone has a 20-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 lens.

Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone also comes with Harman Kardon stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It measures 164.3×74.6X8.8mm and weighs 225 grams.

The dual-SIM 5G Mi 11 Pro borrows a lot of its specifications from the Mi 11 Ultra with the primary difference being the lack of a secondary display and a more advanced camera of the Mi 11 Ultra. The Mi 11 Pro has the exact same display as the Mi 11 Ultra with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Mi 11 Pro also comes with an IP68 dust- and water-resistant build and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired as well as wireless fast charging.

The triple rear camera setup on the Mi 11 Pro includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 primary sensor with an f/1.95 lens and OIS. The phone has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary camera with an f/2.4 lens and a 123-degree FoV, and an 8-megapixel tele-macro tertiary camera with an f/3.4 lens, OIS, a 50x digital zoom, and a 5x optical zoom. The setup also includes a dual-tone LED flash. The Mi 11 Pro comes with a 20-megapixel front camera.

The connectivity options on the Mi 11 Pro are identical to those of Mi 11 Ultra. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Harmon Kardon stereo speakers.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G specifications

The dual-SIM Mi 11 Lite 5G runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top. It features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The 5G phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC, paired with Adreno 642 GPU, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage expandable (up to 512GB) via a microSD card.

The most affordable phone in the Mi 11 series comes with a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Connectivity options on the Mi 11 Lite 5G include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Mi 11 Lite is also the thinnest and the lightest smartphone in the lineup, measuring 160.53×75.72×6.81mm and weighing 159 grams.

Mi Smart Band 6 price, availability, and specifications

The Mi Band 6 has a larger 1.56-inch (152 x 486 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen display than the Mi Band 5 that comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The Mi Band 6 has a 326ppi pixel density, 450 nits of peak brightness, and is waterproof up to 50 metres. It packs a 125mAh battery claimed to deliver a standby time of up to 14 days. The band takes about two hours to charge and supports Bluetooth 5.0.

The fitness wearable supports 30 sports models and can auto-detect six activities including walking, running, indoor treadmill, and cycling. The Mi Band 6 features 24/7 blood pressure, blood oxygen (SPO2), and heart-rate monitoring, and also supports sleep tracking.

The Mi Band 6 has two variants. The vanilla variant has a price tag of CNY 229 (roughly Rs. 2,500). Its special edition with NFC is priced at CNY 279 (roughly Rs. 3,000). The new wearable will be available in Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Silver, White, and Yellow colour options, and goes on sale on April 2.
