What makes HomeKit a make or break feature? 1. Security2. Compatibility3. Ecosystem Agnostic 4. Core iOS integration[automerge]1578266707[/automerge]I really wish MR would start tagging these IoT devices with “HomeKit” or “Non-HomeKit” when referring to hardware by name. Having an iOS app is no longer sufficient for Apple relevance. No HomeKit no sale.

Rolling out. I see what you did there. Ironically I set up HomeBridge over the winter break to solve this problem and they’ve been working great. I have the shades automated to open close with sunrise/sunset, works with Siri and even shows the battery level. Apparently ikeas HomeKit implementation does not show you the battery
